Hello, I'm Mrs. Stephanie Davisson.

I teach the choral classes at Rensselaer, 6-12 grades. I have enjoyed being in the Rensselaer community most of my life and have been given the opportunity to continue a family "Hoosier Heritage" tradition by working in the Choral Department as a music teacher. I am married to Tod Davisson and we have three children: Terry-28 (wife Courtney-27, Little Tod-6mths.), Ben-26, and Katie-24. Having completed my first Masters at Ball-State (2012) in Educational Psychology with an additional certification in High/Ability, I realize that education is moving into a technology world and I need to keep up with the times. With the addition of iPads in our school district (1:1) and many learning activities on-line, it is an exciting time to be in education. I enjoy my family, career, being a Youth/ Music Leader at First Presbyterian Church, and giving back to my community.
Recently retiring from coaching Girls Golf at the Varsity level for the Lady Bombers (10 years) after our 2015 Fall Season, I can now use that time to enjoy more photography, vacationing, golfing, presenting at educational conferences, and writing books. If I can serve your child in any way, please contact me.
God Bless! Sincerely, Stephanie Davisson

4-26-14 Very proud of my first son as he graduated from Western Michigan University in Electrical Engineering. Going to college is an important step in your life and graduating is even more important! Below is a short video from his 5 year stay at WMU. Now off he goes with one of the sweetest girls we know, into a life with a career and well deserved happiness. Terry will begin his first Engineering experience with a wonderful company called Whirlpool.
10-16-15 Terry advances as a contracted Engineer in Iowa. There he continues his work experience with an amazing company called-John Deere. Courtney is by his side. They are pretty happy with their puppy of 2 years-German Shepherd-Zeus in a beautiful community.
12-28-15 Terry purposes to Courtney. This was so exciting. They are getting their plans together and our "save a date" will be 10-08-16. I'm so excited for them. Welcoming another Davisson to the family is just so cool.

Benjamin enjoys Western Michigan University 2011-2013
Benjamin Davisson is my second son. He is an amazing athlete and exceptional humorous person. He started his educational journey at Western Michigan University and played football along side his brother Terry. There on a D-1 scholarship as well, he majored in business and civil engineering. After experiencing some injury and feeling undecided about his educational experiences he transferred to Saint Joseph College where he could continue his NCAA eligibility and educational aspirations under the well known and highly recognized Computer Science director, Mr. Brian Capouch and Business Administration director, Teresa Mossels. Presently on track for graduation in May of 2017 with academic honors, his two degrees will serve him well.
Saint Joseph College is near and dear to my heart. I received my Indiana Teaching Certification from SJC in 2005 and it is a great place to get a degree or two! Katie, my daughter and youngest child, graduated from SJC (5-7-16) majoring in Creative Writing and Art. She loved all her experiences at SJC. She sang in their choir, played on the golf team with scholarship, enjoyed writing for their local Newspaper, a popular book called "Measure", participated in the talent shows each year, earned many honors in the art department, and had a job with the radio station, 93.3 "The Joe". She was in three musical with lead parts and made many great friends. Ben, son #2, joined SJC in the fall of 2014, transferring in from WMU. With majors in Business and Computer Science, Ben will continue his athlete career on the track team, throwing shot put, disc, and the hammer for the Pumas, graduating in 2017. SJC is a great fit for our family and offers a solid college degree program. Go Pumas!
